Clayton is a perfect 10-0 against Southeast Raleigh since September of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Comets will host the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. Southeast Raleigh took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Clayton, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Clayton got the win against Smithfield-Selma by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Comets.

Clayton was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-8, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Southeast Raleigh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to Fuquay - Varina.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-10, 25-9.

Clayton now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Southeast Raleigh, their loss dropped their record down to 0-13.
