Soccer Recap: Enloe Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against Riverside-Durham

There's no place like home for Enloe, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Riverside-Durham Pirates on Monday as Enloe made off with a 6-1 win. Considering Enloe have won four contests by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Alicia Okonkwo and Samantha Shed scored all six of Enloe's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Enloe's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three matchups. As for Riverside-Durham, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Enloe will challenge Cardinal Gibbons at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Cardinal Gibbons' last five games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Riverside-Durham, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hillside at 6:45 p.m. on April 8.
