After low-scoring totals in their previous three matchup, Marian Central Catholic brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They blew past the St. Francis Spartans 12-6 on Friday. The Hurricanes not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 26th (when they won 20-0).

TJ Cutrona was excellent, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Colin Hernon, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.

Marian Central Catholic always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .525. They are 5-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

The victory snapped Marian Central Catholic's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-24 record. As for St. Francis, their loss dropped their record down to 23-5.
