Soccer Recap: Valley View Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Valley View was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They came up short against the Searcy Lions, falling 6-1. The loss continues a trend for Valley View in their meetings with Searcy: they've now lost six in a row.

Valley View's goal came courtesy of Grant Higgins, who's now up to six this season.

Valley View's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5-2. As for Searcy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-1-2 record this season.

Valley View does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Searcy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Heber Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
