Recap: Iraan Braves vs. McCamey Badgers
The Iraan Braves pushed their score all the way to 34 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 35-34 to McCamey. Iraan has not had much luck with McCamey recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Despite the loss, Iraan still got an impressive performance from Cole Bowman, who threw for 93 yards and a touchdown while completing 75% of his passes.
Grant Glidewell was his usual excellent self, rushing for 101 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 209 yards and a touchdown while completing 81% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Donovin Young, who rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown.
Iraan has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for McCamey, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5.
Iraan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. McCamey will head out on the road to face off against Roscoe at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Roscoe will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
