Basketball Game Preview: Rolesville Rams vs. Franklinton Red Rams

The Rolesville Rams are taking a road trip to challenge the Franklinton Red Rams at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Rolesville can't be too happy about their upcoming road matchup considering what happened when they opened their season away from home on Friday. They were beaten by Heritage 81-46.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Jacob Clemons, who posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Life Lynch, who put up 11 points.

Meanwhile, Franklinton unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 64-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wakefield on Tuesday. The Red Rams haven't had much luck with the Wolverines recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Rolesville beat Franklinton 68-58 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
