Basketball Recap: Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna Comes Up Short

Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna lost against Colfax back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna Broncos were outmatched by the Colfax Bulldogs and fell 73-28. While losing is never fun, the Broncos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 11th).

Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Colfax, the victory (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 18-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna will challenge Freeman at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Freeman knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna likes a good challenge. As for Colfax, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
