Soccer Recap: West Carter Comes Up Short

If West Carter was riding high fresh off their 6-1 takedown of Morgan County on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Comets lost 7-4 to the East Carter Raiders on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against East Carter this season, with their most recent defeat being a 6-0 loss last Monday.

West Carter's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-11-1. As for East Carter, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

As of now, neither West Carter nor East Carter have any future games scheduled.
