ITW David Speer Academy waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Bulls College Prep Bulls 17-1. The result was nothing new for the Pride, who have now won four matches by 15 runs or more so far this season.

Brianna Robles made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Estela Garcia, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, seven RBI, and three runs. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Another player making a difference was Janelise Cosme, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in both of her plate appearances.

ITW David Speer Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .700. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .312 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

ITW David Speer Academy pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Bulls College Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
