Recap: East Clarendon vs. Lakewood
The East Clarendon Wolverines traveled a rocky road last season, and unfortunately for them the road hasn't gotten any smoother. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 5-1 walloping at the hands of Lakewood on Tuesday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for East Clarendon in their matchups with Lakewood: they've now lost four in a row.
East Clarendon's loss dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Lakewood, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Clarendon will take on Wilson Hall at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lakewood, they will head out on the road to face off against Lower Richland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lakewood is facing Lower Richland at the right time seeing as Lower Richland is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
