South Anchorage had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Saturday. They came out on top against the Soldotna Stars by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Wolverines, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

South Anchorage's victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Soldotna, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6.
