South Anchorage faced Soldotna in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Wolverines walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Stars. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Stars recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Indy Kmet paced South Anchorage's offense, picking up nine kills. Kmet got some help from Ellie Kleven and her 14 assists. Meadow Carr controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

South Anchorage's victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Soldotna, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 14-6.

South Anchorage wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against West Anchorage on the 27th. As for Soldotna, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Dimond on the 27th.
