Volleyball Recap: Coachella Valley Takes a Loss

Coachella Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Cathedral City Lions. The Mighty Arabs were not able to make up for their loss to the Lions from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Coachella Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Cathedral City, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Coachella Valley will take on rival Desert Mirage at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Cathedral City is set to square off against their familiar foe Desert Hot Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
