Softball Recap: Riverview Sharks vs. Chamberlain Storm

Riverview was the 15-0 winner over Chamberlain when they last played one another back in April of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Sharks took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Storm on Thursday. The Sharks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kylie Freeland was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and one double. That home run was her first of the season. Cecilia Cartwright was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Riverview's record is now 9-7. As for Chamberlain, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
