Volleyball Recap: Oak Mountain Academy Comes Up Short

Oak Mountain Academy lost against LaGrange Academy back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors fell just short of LaGrange Academy by a score of 3-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Oak Mountain Academy sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 23-25, 25-22, 13-25, 17-15.

Oak Mountain Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for LaGrange Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coincidentally, Oak Mountain Academy and LaGrange Academy will both be playing Central Fellowship Christian Academy the next time they take the court. LaGrange Academy will host the Lancers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Warriors will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
