We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. Deshler is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

Deshler barely beat East Lawrence the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Deshler was the clear victors by a 19-2 margin over East Lawrence on Monday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Taylor Tittle made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched. Tittle was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with four RBI.

In other batting news, Alivia Lewis was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kendall Scogin, who scored four runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-4.

Deshler kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Lauderdale County unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak dating back to last season on Monday. They lost 15-0 to West Limestone. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Deshler's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Lauderdale County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Deshler came up short against Lauderdale County when the teams last played back in April of 2024, falling 4-0. Can Deshler avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
