Baseball Recap: Milton Takes a Loss

Milton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the West Florida Jaguars. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 11-1 to the Jaguars when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Milton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Albrecht, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Milton's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for West Florida, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-3.

Looking ahead, Milton will head out to challenge Gulf Breeze at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Florida, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Northview at 6:30 p.m.
