Volleyball Recap: Ord Chanticleers vs. St. Paul Wildcats
If Ord was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Maxwell on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chanticleers came up short against the St. Paul Wildcats on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss two weeks ago.
While Ord was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-20, 25-21.
Jamie Vavra paced Ord's offense, picking up ten kills. Vavra got some help from Brylie Collier and her 25 assists. Finally, Vavra was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.
