Basketball Game Preview: Northeast Bradford Panthers vs. Sayre Redskins

Northeast Bradford and Sayre are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Northeast Bradford Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the Sayre Redskins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northeast Bradford is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Northeast Bradford fought the good fight in their overtime game against North Penn-Liberty on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Mountie 57-53.

Meanwhile, Sayre strolled past Cowanesque Valley with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 67-53. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Redskins.

Sayre's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Northeast Bradford, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.

Northeast Bradford suffered a grim 58-33 defeat to Sayre in their previous matchup back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Sayre's Nick Pellicano, who went 13 for 23 en route to 27 points along with seven boards and five assists.
