Recap: Tartan Titans vs. Two Rivers Warriors
The Tartan Titans were the 55-41 winner over the Two Rivers Warriors when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Tartan received a tough blow on Tuesday as they fell 52-36 to Two Rivers. Tartan has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Titans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cadence Vu, who scored 13 points. Aliyanna Alarcon-padilla was another key contributor, scoring four points along with two steals.
Tartan has not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season. As for Two Rivers, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tartan will take on North at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Minnesota (North is ranked 322nd, while Tartan is ranked 336th). As for Two Rivers, they will stay at home for another game and welcome New Prague at 11:30 a.m. on January 27th.
