Basketball Game Preview: Nixyaawii Community Eagles vs. Ione/Arlington Cardinals

Nixyaawii Community took a loss when they played away from home last Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Dufur, posting a 72-22 victory. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Ione/Arlington faced off against Dayville/Monument last Saturday. Ione/Arlington blew past Dayville/Monument 56-31. The win was some much needed relief for the Cardinals as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-5. As for Nixyaawii Community, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.
