Basketball Recap: Islamic Foundation's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Islamic Foundation entered their tilt with Universal on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 27-16 win over the Universal Stars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 57-34 back in November of 2024.

Islamic Foundation's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.0 points per game. As for Universal, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Islamic Foundation has already played their next match (against Unity Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Universal will take on Aqsa at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
