Softball Game Preview: Hunterdon Central Red Devils vs. Ramsey Rams

The Hunterdon Central Red Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Ramsey Rams at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Hunterdon Central comes in on four and Ramsey on 15.

While Hunterdon Central's victory against Ridge wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Red Devils had just enough and edged out the Red Devil 3-2 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Red Devils have posted against the Red Devil since May 4, 2017.

The team relied heavily on Cam Tucker, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Ramsey made easy work of Westwood on Monday and carried off a 17-8 victory. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won 17 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Ramsey's win bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Hunterdon Central, they now have a winning record of 15-14.
