Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Heston Academy). They strolled past the Alcona Tigers with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 42-26. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Despite the loss, Alcona had strong showings from Brandon Fogle, who rushed for 284 yards and two touchdowns, and Keegan Ritchie, who rushed for 173 yards and a pair of TDs on only 13 carries.

Heston Academy now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Alcona, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heston Academy will square off against Hillman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Alcona, they will challenge Whittemore-Prescott at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
