Recap: Master's Hand Christian Warriors vs. Rocket City Falcons
The Master's Hand Christian Warriors were the 51-40 winner over the Rocket City Falcons when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Master's Hand Christian was just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 50-49 to Rocket City. Master's Hand Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Master's Hand Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Cade Craig and Josh Young. Craig scored 20 points along with four steals, while Young scored six points along with 11 rebounds and three blocks. That's the first time this season that Craig scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Nelson, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
Master's Hand Christian has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Rocket City, the win got them back to even at 9-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Master's Hand Christian will take on Marshall Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Rocket City, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Evangel Christian at 7:00 p.m.
