Soccer Recap: Colleton County Takes a Loss

Colleton County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Bishop England Battling Bishops. While losing is never fun, Colleton County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 103rd, while Bishop England are ranked fourth).

Colleton County's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Bishop England, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Colleton County will square off against May River at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Colleton County's defense better be ready for this one: May River has averaged an impressive 4.7 goals per game this season. As for Bishop England, they will challenge Beaufort at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
