While Serrano's win against Victor Valley wasn't quite the blowout they won the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Serrano Diamondbacks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Victor Valley Jackrabbits on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Diamondbacks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Michael Delgado looked comfortable as he tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2024.

On the hitting side, Tyler Van Duyne was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024.

The win got Serrano back to even at 2-2. As for Victor Valley, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Serrano will square off against Colton at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Victor Valley, they will face off against Apple Valley at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.
