Cartersville wins going away against Armuchee

The Cartersville Hurricanes lost to the Armuchee Indians back in November of 2020, but the Cartersville Hurricanes didn't allow the Armuchee Indians the same satisfaction on Thursday. Cartersville strolled past Armuchee with points to spare, taking the game 51-34. The win made it back-to-back wins for Cartersville.

Cartersville found their leader in underclassman Kaytlin Arnold, who scored 15 points along with four steals. The game was Arnold's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Nayel Camper was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with three steals.

Cartersville's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Armuchee, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cartersville will take on North Paulding at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. North Paulding presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Cartersville in Georgia (North Paulding is ranked 24th, while Cartersville is ranked 219th). As for Armuchee, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Trion at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
