Mount Union entered their tilt with Moshannon Valley on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They strolled past the Black Knights/Damsels with points to spare, taking the game 34-19. The Trojans pushed the score to 34-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Black Knights/Damsels cut but never quite recovered from.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Mount Union's defense and their three sacks. In that department, Rahmeir Smith was the leader with two.

When it comes to explaining why Moshannon Valley lost, don't look at Rocco Reifer. Despite the final result, he rushed for 194 yards while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. With that strong performance, Reifer is now averaging an impressive 113.4 rushing yards per game.

Mount Union's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Moshannon Valley, they dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
