Volleyball Recap: Newell Takes a Loss

Newell was the 3-1 winner over Bison when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Irrigators fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Irrigators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Newell's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Bison, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-9 record this season.

Newell has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Kadoka on the 4th. As for Bison, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against New Underwood on the 4th.
