Basketball Game Preview: St. Bernard Prep Saints vs. Cullman Christian Lions

For the first time this season, St. Bernard Prep will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will head out to take on the Cullman Christian Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

St. Bernard Prep is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight games dating back to last season on Friday. They lost 60-35 to Colbert Heights.

Meanwhile, Cullman Christian played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 77-20 loss at the hands of Vinemont. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-10.

Cullman Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for St. Bernard Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 0-2.

St. Bernard Prep couldn't quite finish off Cullman Christian when the teams last played back in January and fell 43-40. Can the Saints avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
