Basketball Game Preview: Tri-Valley Vikings vs. El Paso-Gridley Titans

Tri-Valley hasn't had much luck against El Paso-Gridley recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. Both will face off at 8:00 p.m. without much rest having both just played. Tri-Valley will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Friday, Tri-Valley didn't have too much trouble with Lexington as they won 52-35.

Meanwhile, El Paso-Gridley sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 58-56 victory over Fieldcrest on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

El Paso-Gridley is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Tri-Valley, their win bumped their record up to 15-4.

Tri-Valley was able to grind out a solid victory over El Paso-Gridley when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 57-45. Does Tri-Valley have another victory up their sleeve, or will El Paso-Gridley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
