Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Medway). Their defense stepped up to hand the Norton Lancers a 3-0 shutout on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for Medway as it spelled an end to their 12-match losing streak.

Medway's victory bumped their record up to 2-14-1. As for Norton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-12-3 record this season.
