Softball Recap: Astoria's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Astoria had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Molalla on Wednesday. The Fishermen blew past the Indians 8-0. Considering the Fishermen have won three matchups by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Astoria, bringing their record up to 6-2-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Molalla, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
