Volleyball Game Preview: Lima Senior Spartans vs. Kenton Wildcats + How To Watch

The Lima Senior Spartans will head out to challenge the Kenton Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Lima Senior turned things around against Woodward on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Polar Bears.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lima Senior took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-4, 25-4.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Monday. Kenton walked away with a 3-1 win over Jefferson. The victory continues a trend for Kenton in their matchups with Jefferson: they've now won four in a row.

The win didn't come easy: Jefferson scored at least 22 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 28-26, 24-26, 25-22.

Lima Senior's record now sits at 4-8. As for Kenton, their record is now 5-7.

Lima Senior couldn't quite get it done against Kenton in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Spartans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
