Basketball Recap: Devon Prep Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Devon Prep extended their winning streak to four on Monday, bumping them up to 9-18. Everything went their way against the Lewisburg Green Dragons as they made off with a 73-49 win. That 24-point margin sets a new team best for the Tide this season.

John Doogan went supernova, going 13-for-14 on his way to 29 points and six boards. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Craft, who shot 64% from the field en route to 17 points.

Devon Prep was working as a unit and finished the game with 26 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

As for Lewisburg, they moved to 24-5 with that defeat, which also ended their 19-game winning streak. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since December 5, 2024.

Several Green Dragons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lj Tucker, who posted 11 points. Cortland Michaels was another key player, putting up ten points.

Coming up, Devon Prep will challenge Obama Academy of International Studies at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lewisburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
