Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Seneca). They enjoyed a cozy 81-62 win over the Lowpoint-Washburn Wildcats on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Fighting Irish who have now won six games in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Lowpoint-Washburn lost, don't look at Kody Knecht. Despite the final result, he went 5 for 11 en route to 20 points and eight boards. Knecht has been hot, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Isaacson, who posted 13 points.

Seneca is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points per game. As for Lowpoint-Washburn, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.

Seneca will take on Marquette in a tournament on Friday. As for Lowpoint-Washburn, they will take on Roanoke-Benson at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Lowpoint-Washburn has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
