Recap: Wamogo Regional Warriors vs. Housatonic Mountaineers
The Wamogo Regional Warriors won the last time they faced the Housatonic Mountaineers, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Wamogo Regional took down Housatonic 55-37. The win made it back-to-back wins for Wamogo Regional.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wamogo Regional to victory, but perhaps none more so than Patrick Weaving, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Quinn Coffey, who scored 15 points.
Wamogo Regional now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Housatonic, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wamogo Regional will take on Litchfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Litchfield has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 300 points over their last four matchups. Housatonic will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wamogo Regional at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th.
