Basketball Recap: Pinelands Regional Takes a Loss

Pinelands Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 51-49 heartbreaker at the hands of the Henry Hudson Admirals. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Wildcats have suffered since January 17, 2024.

Pinelands Regional's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Henry Hudson, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Wildcats face off against the Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Henry Hudson, they will face off against Point Pleasant Beach at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
