Volleyball Recap: Buchanan Extends Winning Streak to Three

Buchanan had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Clovis North Broncos. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win on April 3rd.

Buchanan had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-19, 25-10, 25-19.

Buchanan got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cole Haroldsen out in front who had 25 assists and seven digs. Haroldsen has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more assists the last ten times he's played. Another player making a difference was Carlos Jay, who had five digs and two aces.

Buchanan's win bumped their record up to 24-15. As for Clovis North, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-12 record this season.
