Soccer Recap: Sycamore Comes Up Short

After soaring to five goals the game before, Sycamore was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They fell just short of the St. Xavier Bombers by a score of 1-0. If Sycamore were looking for revenge after losing 4-1 to St. Xavier when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Sycamore's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for St. Xavier, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1-1.

Looking ahead, Sycamore will host Archbishop Moeller at 2:00 p.m. on September 6. As for St. Xavier, they will take on Elder at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
