Basketball Recap: Tanner Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Tanner came into Saturday's contest having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They strolled past the Huntsville Christian Academy Panthers with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 50-33.

Tanner's victory bumped their record up to 2-13. As for Huntsville Christian Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Tanner and Athens will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Huntsville Christian Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Athens Bible at 6:30 p.m. on January 14, 2025.
