Basketball Recap: Atmore Christian Takes a Loss

Atmore Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were beaten by the Central Christian Saints 63-4. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-0.

Ayden Lippincott was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 33 points and 12 steals for Central Christian. The dominant performance gave Lippincott a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayes Turner, who posted five points along with seven boards and four steals.

Atmore Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Central Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Atmore Christian nor Central Christian have any future games scheduled.
