Recap: Eastside Eagles vs. Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs
In what's become a running theme this season, the Eastside Eagles gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They put the hurt on Winder-Barrow with a sharp 65-39 win. Given Eastside's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 139th, while Winder-Barrow is ranked 422nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Eastside's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kaliel Kracht led the charge by scoring eight points along with seven steals. Ari Carter was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Eastside and bumps their season record up to 14-9. As for Winder-Barrow, they dropped their record down to 4-20 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
Eastside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Winder-Barrow also has no future games currently scheduled.
