Recap: Mountain Empire Redhawks vs. The Cambridge School Griffins
The Mountain Empire Redhawks lost against The Cambridge School Griffins back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Mountain Empire was outmatched by The Cambridge School at home and fell 61-31. It was the first time this season that Mountain Empire let down their fans at home.
Mountain Empire's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Maximo Gonzalez, who scored 6 points along with 7 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Sepulveda, who scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds.
Mountain Empire's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 4-2. As for The Cambridge School, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain Empire will take on Julian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for The Cambridge School, they will be playing at home against School for Entrepreneurship & Technology at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
