Volleyball Recap: Calvary Baptist Academy Snags 11th Win in Last 13 Games

Calvary Baptist Academy won the last time they faced Teays Valley Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Patriots were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lions.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-15, 25-16.

Calvary Baptist Academy found their leader in sophomore Daisy Runyan, who had five aces and one assist. Those five aces set a new season-high mark for Runyan.

Calvary Baptist Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. They are 16-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Calvary Baptist Academy has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for Teays Valley Christian, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
