Basketball Recap: Highland Comes Up Short

After flying high against Golden Valley last Monday, Highland came back down to earth. The Highland Scots were beaten by the Bakersfield Christian Eagles 87-52 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Scots in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost seven in a row.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Bakersfield Christian, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-6.

Highland will host Independence on Thursday. As for Bakersfield Christian, they will head out to face off against Bakersfield at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
