Softball Recap: Crane Comes Up Short

Crane was the 4-3 winner over Purdy when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.

Crane saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Destiny Kerr, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Crane's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Purdy, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Crane nor Purdy have any future games scheduled.
