Fairfield added to the longest winning streak in Black Diamond this week by beating Vienna/Goreville, 43-8. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Fairfield moved up to 346 from 421 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Justin Townsend's team climbed the ranks as a result of besting the Eagles 43-8.
Chester's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jake Lochhead threw for 128 and 2 touchdowns and Brad Asselmeier had 57 yards receiving. On the ground Joel Clendenin contributed 190 yards. Caleb Golding helped Chester's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 47 yards.
