Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kapa'a). Their defense stepped up to hand Island a 7-0 shutout on Saturday. Considering the Warriors have won five contests by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Kapa'a pushed their record up to 6-0-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Island, they, and they. As for they, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kapa'a will host Waimea at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Island, they will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Kauai at 4:00 p.m.
